Chemical and Biomolecular Engineer, Emmy-nominated producer and Mythbusters Jr. alum joins Inq Factory.

Inq Factory, the creator-led product lab behind the Vsauce Curiosity Box, are proud to announce our partnership with Tamara Robertson.

An Emmy-nominated producer, OSHA-certified chemical and biomolecular engineer, and MythBusters Jr. alum, Tamara’s work has included Comic-Con panels, vaccine production lines, Amazon bestseller lists… and now, her first toy.

Together, Inq Factory and Tamara are developing a new category of STEM products: toys inspired by the joy of fiddling with engines in her Dad’s garagetoys that invite kids (and adults) to tinker.

Engineering isn’t about always getting it right. It’s about having the courage to try when you don’t know if it’ll work. But somewhere along the way, we started rewarding perfection over process. Walk down a toy aisle - most kits are about nailing it on the first try. We’re here to change that. There’s brilliance in failing forward, and there’s strength in showing up for the messy middle.

So, what are we making together?

We can’t give it all away just yet, but here’s what you can expect:

✔ A fresh new format for hands-on STEM learning
✔ A real-world engineering experience that feels like play
✔ Products that reflect Tamara’s unique voice and passion for inclusivity

Tamara’s work sits at the intersection of storytelling, science, and social impact – a space we care deeply about at Inquisitive. She brings an incredible energy and integrity to everything she does, and we’re thrilled to support her next chapter as a creator. Collaborations like this are exactly why we built the Inq Factory – to back voices that inform, inspire and challenge the status quo.

What’s next?

This partnership is the latest in a series of high-profile signings that pair the biggest names in STEM content creation with award-winning product development teams.

Our tinkering kit for kids will be the first of its kind and available for pre-sale in Q3 2025.

We are Inquisitive.
Stay curious.
